Follow some of my links to Bible study resources or to websites that may lead you in your own search for
God. If you truely find God and meet Jesus Christ, it will be due to his grace. And by His mercy He will respond
to your honest and sincere search for Him.
I'm not trying to sound mystic and "ooowe ooo". But I just recognize that although redemption is only
through Jesus Christ, all roads do not lead to him. That includes most instituttions, especially churches. Often
the self-centered nature of man becomes institutionalized within organizations and the members only focus on themselves
and the perpetuation of the organization. They serve themselves, each other, and the corperate body, but not Christ.
Here are the basics as I understand them:
1. Mankind in general and individually are fallen or sinful due to our nature and our acts.
2. No one is righteous. We're all doomed and unable to help ourselves. (isn't this encouraging!)
3. God himself provided for the redemption of mankind.
4. We are redeemed by the person and work of Jesus Christ.
5. In response to our recognition of our condition and the effectiveness of Christ's self-sacrifice
as the Messiah to save us from our sins and to redeem us, the Holy Spirit of Christ is birthed within us.
6. Our daily lives are a struggle to deny ourselves and to submit to Christ and allow Him full control.
7. Christ transforms our lives to HIs purpose and will and manifests spiritual good fruit in our lives.
